I Finally Started My YouTube Dream

Hi Guys! It has been a while since you've heard from me. I'm sorry I haven't uploaded for a long time. I have a lot on draft but I forgot to upload it sooo...I'm so sorry. I was too busy with school and I took my time off to actually focus since it was quite a tough school year. But well, I'm finally here uploading a blog and shamelessly promoting my YouTube channel!!

So to the few of you who have read my "50 Facts About Me" blog, you would know that I've always wanted to start my own YouTube channel. I wanted to start uploading on YouTube since I was 13 but I was too shy and I didn't really have enough confidence to actually upload. I have been filming since I was 13 to be honest with you but I never really had the guts to upload them because I was too scared to be judged. However, as time goes by I realized that it really is my passion and that I actually enjoy it so why should I let my fear hold me back. So I actually got out of my comfort zone and I uploaded my first ever YouTube video which is called "What I Bought in Manila." I would actually love it if you guys watch my video. I hope you guys could also like and subscribe to my channel and support me through my YouTube journey. You guys could also leave a comment if you want to and share it with your friends. I'll try to blog more for you guys since I have missed creating content that I love for you guys!

xoxo

Back to School

It's that time of the year again! We are officially starting school tomorrow here in the Philippines. Some actually don't find school very fun and exciting but I do enjoy it a lot. I don't know with you guys but I love going back to school shopping so much. That "I really need that" and "Oh my goodness! That is so cute I need to buy that" feeling. Well, some you don't actually need, you just can't help yourself so you buy it anyway. So here are some things that I bought to make this school year a little better. I'll try to leave some links if I can manage to find these products online but some items can just be found in your local stores.

School shoes are one of my favorite things to buy. Especially when there are a lot of options to choose from. I bought my school shoes from Payless this year. It is a Lower East Side brand. Good quality and good price as well. We can never forget our gym shoes. So my gym shoes are from Nike and it is the Nike Free 5.0 which I bought last summer. Very comfortable and lightweight gym shoes.

So I got quite bag obsessed. I bought 4 bags as you can see in the picture above when we were travelling in Cebu and Davao. My main school back pack is from Herschel and it is a Heritage model. I love the denim fabric and love the fact that it has polka dots. It also has a laptop sleeve which is a plus point for me because I usually need to bring my laptop to school. Another bag that I bought is for my exams or those days when we just have a small school event. I bought it from Terranova and it was literally love at first sight because I love anything black and white. Another bag that I bought is a sackpack from Nike which I seriously love because again, it's black and white. Very handy for school practices on the weekends or just as a gym bag when we have our Physical Education class. Another bag that I bought is from Case Logic which is a very good quality laptop bag for a 13" laptop. Well there are other sizes and colors to choose from but just decided to go with black.

These are the notebooks that I bought. I always buy Blue Feather notebooks because it is very good quality. Also bought a notebook from Spring Leaf which is the "Enjoy life and Travel" one for my homeroom and to scribble some stuff. A Steno Notebook is actually quite handy and I bought a Cattleya one. Blue Feather, Spring Leaf, and Cattleya are on the pricey side but since it's good quality, it's worth it. Also bought bond papers in short and long and as well as a construction paper for arts and crafts. Also bought the basic papers that you will need for school for quizzes, activities, etc.

These are ballpens, pencils, color pencils, pentel pens, highlighter, erasers, whiteout, and sharpener that I bought. Ballpens are from Superbwriter and Frixion Pens. Frixion pens are quite handy. Just don't use it in exams and important documents. You'll surely regret it. Pencils that I bought are Mongol 2 because it is what the school usually requires. Color Pencils are from the Secret Garden coloring book set. Pentel Pens are just basic Lion City pens because I don't actually need really good quality ones. Highlighter is from Stabilo. Erasers are both from Maped. Liquid whiteout is from Dong-A. I prefer liquid ones than the tape ones because it lasts longer. My cute little sharpener is from Mongol.

These are just some random stuff that I need and you might need as well. Laptop is from Apple and it is a 13" MacBook Pro. Two foldable envelopes which are actually better than the usual thin ones that easily get ripped. They are by a brand called Phoenix. Clear envelope by Seagull which I will use to place in my papers so that it won't be crumpled. Clear book is by Go-Win and it has 40 pockets which is really handy because important papers and other things that you need to submit can just be placed in it so that it would look presentable once you pass it. Pencil case doesn't actually have a brand but it is so cute. Page markers are both from Post-it. Scissors are from Scotch. Cutter and stapler are from Maped. USB is from SanDisk. Scientific Calculator is from Casio. Earphones are from Samsung. Glue Stick is from Dong-A. I actually have no idea where my book strap, padlock, and name tag is from but you'll definitely need those stuff.

P.S. To the people who think book straps are weird, it is in fact a life saver.

And last but not least, you will definitely need a hygiene kit. To keep you fresh all day long at school. Comb is from Goody, powder from Johnson's, lip balm from Nivea, hair cuticle coat from Vitress, toothpaste from Colgate, and my toothbrush is from a hotel that we stayed in. So yeah, you can actually add more in your hygiene kit but those are just what I use.

I'll surely be busy as this school year starts again. Considering it is my last year in Junior High School so maybe I'll have lesser blog posts but I'll try my best to post as many as I can. Hope you enjoy your school year!

Camiguin Island

Sandals: Montego Bay Club

First ever summer blog! So, first destination is Camiguin Island. The island born of fire. Well it's not actually a vacation for me. It is more of like going back home since most of my relatives are in Camiguin. Had such a great time bonding with relatives from my mother's side. Camiguin is also a very nice place where you can chill. Definitely a place to go to if you're looking for a place to venture this summer vacation.

Top: Sassa, Bottom: Swimlab

To break the intense summer heat, Sto. Niño Cold Spring is definitely a must visit. It's a cold spring located in Catarman. It is a very famous cold spring in Camiguin. A place where there is always a lot of tourists and as well as residents of the island, most especially this summer.

Another place to beat the summer heat is Tuasan Falls which is located in Catarman. It is a newly developed waterfall which is why there aren't much tourists that visit it yet. But it is definitely a nice place to visit and chill.

If you want to go to the sea, well I highly recommend going to Mantigue Island. It's a white beach and has trees which is nice if you want some shade. You can also go snorkeling if you want to.

If you're also looking for the best seafood in the island with a great view, it's a must that you go to J&A Fishpen Resort and Restaurant, otherwise known as Lagoon. Probably the best since the seafood are fresh. If you want it to be a lot more fun, you can go fishing and the fish you caught will be the fish they will cook.

If you also just want to chill and you're in to bees or just like a very sick view of the sea, you must go to the BeeHive and Island of Honey which is located in Catarman. They serve delicious meals and also sell honey, nuts, etc.

I don't have pictures of the place, but La Dolce Vita is a very nice place for authentic Italian pizza and pasta. Friendly people and delicious food. Probably went back to eat in La Dolce Vita the whole time I stayed in Camiguin.

There are a lot more places that you need to explore in Camiguin but these are the only places that I went to during our stay. It's just a nice place to chill.

Top 10 Favourite Films

Well I'm pretty sure everyone has their favourite films of all time. One you'll never get tired or bored of watching because it always feels like the first time. I'm basically going to talk a bit about each one of them and if you haven't watched any of these, try watching one and tell me whether you like it or not.
1. The Notebook - This is probably one of my ultimate favourite films of all time. I'm that girls who loves romantic films. It may seem boring to some but I enjoy it a lot. It's just a very nice story about two people who love each other so much that even though Allie's parents don't like Noah at all, she still fought for it until the end. I think that it takes a lot of guts to do such a thing.

2. Harry Potter - Also another favourite of mine. Well I basically tuned into each of the series because the story is so interesting and I admire the bravery of Harry Potter. I am also a big fan of Emma Watson which is another reason why I tune into this film a lot. Everything about this film is just beautiful. It is actually a dream of mine to go to the Harry Potter studios in the UK. Hope that won't stay just a dream.

3. Titanic - A film that never fails to make me cry. It's just like the story of The Notebook where parents do not agree of the man, but here Rose's mother does not like Jack but she did not listen because she loves Jack so much. The ending breaks my heart every single time.

4. Tinker Bell - This might be a bit childish but I love Tinker Bell so much. I even have a Tinker Bell t-shirt. It's just a nice story about friendship and doing what you really want to do. It's a movie I never get tired of because each character has their time to shine in each movie that they release. It makes you realize what true friends are really like.

5. Pitch Perfect - One of my favourite films of all time. Since I'm very in to music, I'll surely love any film that involves songs. I also love that their music is in with the generation which is a reason why I think it is a very big hit. It is also a nice film that talks about friendship, love, and pursuing dreams.

6. High School Musical - Probably one of everyone's favourite musical. Who never fell in love with Troy Bolton? I mean he was just everyone's crush way back then. Never a boring film since their songs are original and catchy. Even their dances are something people do. And just like Pitch Perfect, it's a beautiful film about friendship, love, and pursuing dreams.

7. Parent Trap - Probably one of the best Disney film that there is. For those who haven't watched this yet, you're totally missing out. I love it simply because it involves twins and I have always wanted to have a twin but it doesn't run in our family. It's just a nice story of two twins who were separated because their parents broke up yet they met in summer camp. I won't give the ending to those who haven't watched this yet but you will surely love it.

8. Bride Wars - A film that I never get bored of watching. It's basically a best friend turned enemy type of movie because of their wedding. It is a very fun movie to watch. Basically a life lesson type of film. Do not mess with your friends. Ever.

9. Percy Jackson - A very fascinating film I must say. I wish they would make a movie out of each book because the story is honestly so nice. And who doesn't love a film about gods and goddesses right?

Source: http://images5.fanpop.com/image/photos/26100000/Hachiko-Movie-Poster-hachiko-26118441-1000-1416.jpg
10. Hachi: A Dog's Tale - Another film that never fails to make me cry. I looked like a waterfall when I watched this film. People were like, "What the hell is wrong with you?" This film basically manifests the saying, "A dog is a man's best friend." Being a dog owner, I really believe in that saying. Sometimes I tell my dog my problem. I feel like she gets me. That might sound weird but it works for me. Plus it's a true story which breaks my heart even more.

So those are my top 10 favourite films of all time. Have you watched all of them? And if not, try watching them and tell me what you think. I'd also love to hear what your favourite films are because I want to watch more films this summer so just leave a comment down below.

Promenade 2016

Prom is something that excites every junior and senior. It is that point in your life when you want to look your best. To look like a prince or a princess. Making sure you wear the best gown or cocktail dress for girls. Making sure you wear the best suit for the boys. Begging your parents to let a known designer in your city design and make your gown. For you to simply stand out during the promenade.

Our prom's theme was "One Magical Night." It was a very beautiful day for a promenade. The venue looked breathtaking. Everyone looked stunning. It was like being in a palace with princes and princesses. The entire ceremony was successful. After the entire program ended, the most awaited part which is the announcement of the prom prince, princess, king, and queen was done. I was lucky enough to win the title of prom princess. It was honestly unexpected. I was even shocked when the emcee read out my name. But I was so happy and pleased to be crowned as prom princess. Disco started right after. It was a very fun disco.
The prom ended so soon. It was like just a couple of minutes ago when it started. The prom's theme was fit for what just had happened. It was indeed a magical night. I would just like to thank the entire ROPA team for my cocktail dress and Mena Montecarlo for my hair and makeup. I would not look this beautiful if it weren't for you. I'm already so excited for next school year's promenade!
